Zinc Plated with Color Passivation, commonly referred to as Color Zinc, is a widely used post-galvanizing passivation process for metal fasteners (such as bolts, nuts, screws, etc.) and hardware components. It belongs to the category of electro-galvanizing surface treatment. By treating the zinc coating with a color passivation solution (containing chromate and other components), a rainbow-colored passivation film (interspersed with golden yellow, reddish brown, blue-green, etc.) is formed, whose core functions are to enhance corrosion resistance and improve visual identification.
